Our founding event partners
The Security Industry Champion of Champions was founded by Better Tomorrow Trust together with organisations from across the security industry. Each founding partner hosts a qualifying charity golf day and gets behind the final, where their winning teams line up for the trophy in September.
Want to put your brand behind the final? We'd love to hear from you.

2nd Annual Charity Golf Day
14 May 2026 The Warren Estate, Essex 100 golfers£8,000+ raised
Our biggest golf day yet. On Thursday 14 May, 100 golfers took on a 27-hole challenge at The Warren Estate – a 9-hole scramble followed by an 18-hole Stableford – starting with bacon rolls at 08:00 and ending with a raffle and prize presentation. Even a surprise hailstorm right in the middle of the day couldn't dampen the spirits (or the fundraising).
Congratulations to CIE-Group, who took the overall team victory and booked their place at the inaugural Champion of Champions final in September. Huge thanks to our prize sponsors – CornerStone, Servicom (High Tech) Ltd (putting) and Vertus Edit (chipping) – and to corporate sponsors Zenitel, Optinet and Serbus. Every penny raised goes directly to our grant-making.
A special thank you to Jordi Whitworth, Brand and Marketing Manager at DSSL Group, who captured the day expertly on film. Watch his highlights video of the day.
Charity Sky Dive
April 2026 Headcorn 11 jumpers · 12,000ft£5,000+ raised
Eleven incredible supporters threw themselves out of a plane at 12,000 feet – and raised over £5,000 doing it. After a plane malfunction pushed the original date back, our jumpers held their nerve and finally took the leap in April 2026.
The stories behind the jumps are what make this one so special: one supporter conquered a lifelong fear of heights; another finally completed a skydive 13 years and five failed attempts in the making; and one kept the whole thing secret, telling their partner only once the video landed. Pure courage, for a brilliant cause.
Christmas Dinner
November 2025 12 guests£1,000+ raised
In November 2025, twelve trustees, friends and partners of the charity came together for a Christmas dinner – a warm, festive evening of great food and even better company that raised over £1,000 towards our grant-making. Proof that better tomorrows can start around a dinner table.
1st Annual Charity Golf Day
12 June 2025 Maylands Golf and Country Club, Essex£8,000+ raised
The one that started it all as a registered charity – building on 12 years of hosting golf days between friends. A glorious day on a course so full of wildlife it became a talking point of its own.
We were honoured to welcome Damon from The Brainwave Centre, who joined us in the evening to share the difference the past year's support has made. Thank you to our sponsors: CornerStone (golf competition), AutoRule Technology (chipping), ITM Communications (putting), and Salto (1st hole).
London Marathon
27 April 2025 London£5,000+ raised
On Sunday 27 April, trustee Tony Bramley and long-time friend of the charity Alfie Blanchard ran all 26.2 miles of the London Marathon – both in memory of loved ones – and raised over £5,000 between them.
We caught them at the 18.5-mile mark to confetti cannons and supporters chanting their names from a balcony. Their determination sums up everything we're about: going the distance to create better tomorrows for those in need.
